Nice to meet you
I am Jeanine, a mother of 3 beautiful and energetic girls and wife to my amazing husband, John. I homeschool my daughters and they are the ones teaching me how to live in the moment and prioritize connection with one another.
How
I got here
After earning a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I began working with families in a community based organization. I taught parenting classes, did therapy with kids, met with social workers, foster parents, received training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and it was challenging and meaningful work but none of this prepared me or equipped me to handle the pressures, fears, stress and overwhelm that comes with being a mom.
I have always wanted to help families thrive, but now I have the right tools to do so!
Why
I do it
I remember what it felt like to parent from fear, confusion and desperation and it was not pretty. I’m not saying my days are filled with rainbows and unicorns but I’m confident that I can navigate the inevitable twists and turns that come with raising children.
I believe that when we parent in a way that honors children, their emotional needs and their unique gifts then we are breaking the cycles that have been passed down to us and are making the world a better place.
